Designing a training programme for employees

For professionals and executives · one-off, as a series or as a course

A staff training programme is a plan that links a company task with who learns what, in which format and when. GlobalStaff designs programmes for professionals and executives, from one-off sessions to series and courses, finds speakers from your industry, a venue or an online format, and builds in a check of the result.

What a training programme consists of

Part of the programmeWhat we fix
Goalthe result the company needs: a new standard, a skill, preparation for promotion, cover for positions during holidays
Participantswho learns: by assessment results or at a manager's request; specialists and managers separately
Contenttopics and order of sessions, from basic knowledge to practice
Formatlecture, training, seminar, workshop, round table, conference; one-off, series or course
Speakersexperts who specialise in your industry
Venueyour office, a classroom or HUB in any city in Ukraine, online
Checkknowledge checks at the start, an interim stage, the end and at work
Outcome for participantscertificates confirming the training

A programme is easier to build when each employee's gaps are known. A personnel assessment shows them, so the programme covers what the team really lacks and training goes to those who need it.

The programme depends on company strategy

The same topic turns into different programmes in companies with different strategies. Three approaches are common:

  • adopt from competitors: the programme catches up with standards and skills that already work elsewhere;
  • prepare for the industry forecast: people learn what they will need as the market is expected to develop;
  • the company's own view of the market: the programme is built around how the company itself plans to work.

Who we design programmes for

Line staff and specialistswork standards, professional skills, customer service and sales
New employeestraining as part of onboarding: the company, the product, standards, a mentor
Middle managersteam management, leadership, communication psychology
Top managersstrategic tasks, management seminars, conferences with industry experts
A facilitator discusses tasks with a group of employees at a shared table with a laptop and materials
A training programme is built from the team's goals and the sessions that serve them

Training session, seminar or programme

When one session solves the task, a single corporate training session or professional development seminar is enough. A programme is needed when one day is too short for the result: the team adopts a new standard, a talent pool is being prepared, managers move to new tasks. Then sessions run as a series or a course, and between them we check that employees apply the knowledge at work. All training formats are collected on the staff training page.

Frequently asked questions

What is a staff training programme?

It is a training plan that fixes the goal, participants, topics, session format, speakers, venue, schedule and the way the result is checked. It links the company task with specific sessions.

How much does it cost to design a training programme?

We calculate the fee after the brief: it depends on the number of groups and sessions, the format, speakers and venue. The programme and the fee are fixed in the contract.

Do you only write the programme or also run the training?

We organise the training under the programme: we find speakers from your industry, a venue or an online format, run the sessions, issue certificates and check the result.

Can you design a programme for top managers?

Yes, we design programmes for both professionals and executives. For managers, seminars, round tables and conferences with industry experts are often the better fit.

How is the result of a programme checked?

With knowledge checks at the start, at an interim stage and at the end, and then at work, when the employee applies the new knowledge in practice. The goal is agreed before the start.

Can the programme be taken online?

Yes, sessions can run online fully or partly, with the rest at your office or in a classroom.
